Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros

Hands down funnest concert I have ever been to.

It was a girls night, all us sisters (excluding Maggie) went to see Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros for Martha's birthday.

The concert was held at Kent Stage (great venue). It was a decent size crowd, with a huge age range.

"Family of the Year" opened the show. They were great, it was so good it made it hard to imagine how much better the concert was going to get.

The music and energy was incredible.

Nearing the end of the show "Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros" had "Family of the Year" join them on stage for one mass jam session.

Trumpet, piano, guitars, base, drums, accordion, tambourines, harmonica, dancing, skipping, stomping, clapping, swaying, sweating, twirling, hugging...etc. filled the evening.

Lead female vocalist, Jade Castrinos, wasn't there. That was disappointing, but the whole show made up for it.

We all agreed if Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros are ever playing a state away again, we are going.
