My Little Treasures

A few weeks ago my professor brought in a couple boxes of old cameras for $2 each. I went through the box and picked out 4 new little treasures. It was assumed that few or none of the cameras would work and their best use would be on the end of a bookshelf for decor. But being myself i got me some small screwdrivers, took them apart, cleaned them till they shined, made sure shutters shut, apertures could be adjusted, film could be loaded, buttons served their function, and in the end had 3 of the 4 cameras working.

I shot a roll with the oldest of the cameras (the kodak ball bearing shutter, NO. 2 folding) because it was the only one that took 120 film. It was so strange trying to figure out how to use a camera so old...and i found out from my negatives that its best use is for landscapes vs. portraits.

The Polaroid & Kodak M22 are from the Hartman's. I have a new battery for the polaroid on special order, and have yet to order film.

After a recent gift from Greg (The Polaroid Book) I have been inspired to start shooting polaroid, its making its come back.
